Iboga Bwiti Providers
For us, this work is personal. It comes from the heart. We are here to guide with care, listen deeply, and support each guest with the respect and attention they deserve—always rooted in tradition, integrity, and the living wisdom of Iboga.
After working with almost 3000 guests, we have grown in our ability to support many different conditions.

“Iboga wove all of my experiences and teachings into one profound truth, and now, it is my honor to share Iboga and the Bwiti teachings with the world.”

Steven Moubengui
Lead Provider
I have walked the path of seeking—searching for truth, meaning, and something real. Along the way, teachers from Native American and Guatemalan traditions taught me to listen deeply: to the earth, the ancestors, and the quiet wisdom within. These early teachings became the foundation for my path as a healer.
Over time, Iboga became one of my deepest teachers. After my first ceremony, I was invited to Africa for a full initiation into the Bwiti tradition. Being welcomed by a living lineage transformed my understanding of healing, responsibility, and community. I continued my training through a long apprenticeship, learning to work with the medicine with respect, care, and grounded attention.
Through the years, I have built a strong relationship with Iboga and a clear understanding of how it works on the mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic levels. I am deeply grateful to guide people through their own journeys, offering steadiness, presence, and compassion along the way.
In the West, I became a main provider at Iboga Wellness in Costa Rica, one of the earliest Iboga retreat centers. I later founded Iboga Healing in Costa Rica, which I ran for six years. In 2021, I moved to Portugal, where I co-founded Root Healing and served as the lead provider. Today, I continue this work as the co-founder and lead provider at Iboga Medicine Portugal, creating a space rooted in integrity, tradition, and the living spirit of the medicine.
I also carry the honor of facilitating traditional Bwiti pre-initiation ceremonies outside of Gabon—a responsibility I hold with humility and deep respect. Now, in my wiser years, I feel gratitude for all that Iboga has taught me.
My intention is simple: to help people reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and rediscover the truth that has always been within.

Her own profound healing experience with the medicine deeply informs her work. This lived experience allows her to hold space with empathy, steadiness, and genuine care — especially during vulnerable and transformative moments.
Trained within the Bwiti tradition and working in alignment with its ceremonial integrity, Rupi bridges traditional practice with trauma-informed awareness and modern integration support. She is committed to ensuring that every guest feels safe, prepared, and supported before, during, and after ceremony.
Rupi’s focus extends beyond the medicine experience itself. She works closely with guests during integration, helping them translate insight into meaningful and sustainable life changes. Her calm presence, intuitive guidance, and attentive support are central to the retreat environment.
Her intention is simple: to help each guest meet themselves honestly, heal deeply, and return home with greater clarity, strength, and self-trust.
