Iboga Retreat Deposit & Payment Agreement


1. Purpose of This Agreement

This agreement confirms my understanding of the payment and cancellation policies for participation in the Iboga Plant Medicine Retreat. By submitting my deposit, I acknowledge that my space is reserved exclusively for me and that the facilitators begin preparation and logistical arrangements as part of a small, intimate group. Because of this, all deposits are strictly non-refundable.

2. Deposit Policy

-A deposit of €2,500 is required to secure my place in the retreat.

-All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, travel complications, or personal changes of plans.

-Deposits may be transferred one time only to a future retreat date with a minimum of two (2) months’ written notice before the retreat start date.

-If I cancel less than two months before the retreat, my deposit will be forfeited in full and cannot be transferred.

-Once transferred, a deposit cannot be moved again or refunded if I cancel a second time.

-This policy honors the depth of preparation and limited group size required for Iboga work.
 

3. Remaining Balance

-The remaining balance of €2,499 is due before the retreat commences.

-If I do not pay the balance by this date, I may lose my reserved space and forfeit my deposit.

-Once full payment has been made, any refund requests will follow the same terms:
no refund, with a one-time transfer possible only if at least two months’ notice is given.

4. Cancellation by Participant

I understand that:

• If I choose to cancel or withdraw for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.
• With at least two months’ written notice, my deposit may be moved one time to a future retreat, subject to space availability.
• If I cancel again after transferring, the deposit will be fully forfeited.
• I am responsible for any travel costs or personal expenses lost due to cancellation.
 

5. Cancellation or Postponement by Organizers

If the retreat must be postponed or canceled by the organizers (e.g., due to unforeseen events, health regulations, or facilitator illness):

• Deposits will not be refunded but will be transferred in full to a future retreat.
• Participants will be notified promptly and offered new retreat dates.
 

6. Respect for the Medicine and Commitment

I understand that Iboga is a sacred and powerful medicine requiring preparation, focus, and deep commitment.

The non-refundable deposit reflects:

• The energetic, logistical, and ceremonial preparation undertaken for each participant.
• The limited number of spaces in each retreat.
• The importance of honoring my commitment once I enter this process.
 

7. Agreement and Consent

By making the payment, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this Deposit & Payment Agreement in full.
• I understand that my deposit is strictly non-refundable and can only be transferred once with at least two months’ written notice.
• I agree to all payment, transfer, and cancellation terms described above.

This agreement takes effect upon submission of my deposit.
